The protection class IP69K was developed for areas in which additional protection against high pressure and temperatures is necessary. This type of protection is promoted primarily in the food and pharmaceutical industries, as the housing here is regularly exposed to high-pressure water jets.

The individual letters and numbers have the following meanings:

6 = Dustproof

9 = Protection against ingress of water during high pressure / steam jet cleaning

K = Proctection against high temperature
